DELAYS of nearly an hour were reported on the A31 following a crash at Ringwood.
The collision, involving a lorry and a Hyundai, happened on the westbound entry slip road by The Fish Inn.
One lane was closed, and traffic was reportedly backing up for five miles towards Ringwood.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said they were called to the scene at midday.
An ambulance was also called, but police have been unable to confirm the details of any injuries.
Recovery was requested for one of the vehicles, and the road has now been cleared.
Morebus earlier tweeted to say its X3 and X6 services heading towards Poole, Bournemouth and Ferndown were being diverted via West Street to rejoin the A31.
