THE opening day of the ninth annual Poole Town & Country Show attracted bumper crowds to Upton Country Park.
Hundreds of visitors attended the Daily Echo-backed event, which boasted a host of attractions including terrier racing, Purbeck ferrets, live music and Galloping Acrobatics .
This year's show also included a goat show, arts and crafts stalls, gift and food marquees, trade stands and rural demonstrations.
Traditional and folk music was performed by Celtic Confusion, and youngsters enjoyed inflatables and a children's fairground.
The event was fully catered and included a licensed bar featuring real ales and cider.
The second day of the Poole Town & Country Show takes place between 10am and 5pm tomorrow.
