The annual exhibition of Wareham Camera Club takes place on Saturday. The event, scheduled for Wareham Town Hall, East Street, takes place from 10am-4pm. Admission is free.

Luna Cinema returns to Bournemouth Pier this weekend. The first film to be shown will be the Oscar-nominated musical drama La La Land on Friday, August 18. On the Saturday, Notting Hill will be shown. And on Sunday, it will be adventure comedy The Goonies. Doors will open at 6.45pm for the 8.15pm showings at the two venues. Tickets are £15 for general admission, £10 for children aged 3 to 15 years, and £7.50 for disabled and carers.

Christchurch Carnival returns this weekend with events taking place at Christchurch Quay. On Saturday, fun will take place from 10am, with craft stalls, cream teas, zumba dancing and the Wessex Majorettes. In the evening, the popular fireworks display will take place around 9.30pm. The procession will leave Two Riversmeet car park at 2pm on Sunday before making its way to the Quay.
