1. There will be feathered fabulousness when the musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert rolls into Bournemouth Pavilion from July 18-22.

2. The man dubbed "the world's greatest explorer" will offer a personal journey through his extraordinary life. Sir Ranulph Fiennes: Mind Over Matter is at Lighthouse, Poole on July 18.

3. Indie rockers The Kooks will play at Lime Wood's Smoked & Uncut in the New Forest on Sunday, July 23.

4. Compton Acres, home to Dorset's finest private gardens, hosts it first 'Exotics Week', running now until July 23, to highlight its collection of exotic plants.

5. Wimborne’s Tivoli Theatre welcomes local comedian, juggler and Tivoli patron, Pete Matthews with his fourth Big Big Variety Show on Friday, July 21. There will be over 25 performers raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Research.

6. Andre Rieu Maastricht Concerts will be aired live on the big screen at the Regent in Christchurch on July 22-23, and August 16 to 'Celebrate 30 years of André and his Johann Strauss Orchestra’.

7. Swinging Jazz is set to play out to audiences at Woodcutts Manor July 29-30, with tickets now on sale. Two concerts of swinging "classic" jazz music will take to the stage in the marquee on the lawn of the traditional 18th century Woodcutts Manor, betwixt Tollard Royal and Sixpenny Handley, north Dorset.

8. Fans of Little Mix will love ‘The Little Mix Experience’ on stage at the BIC on July 23. A tribute with breath-taking dance, vocals and costume.

9. Swanage Carnival & Regatta gets underway next week, from July 29 until August 5. An action packed week with a carnival, dance, live bands, firework displays and family entertainment.

10. Tuesday night is Bike Night on Poole Quay when up to 2,000 bike enthusiasts roar into town every Tuesday night until the end of September, turning Poole Quay into a fabulous bike show. Join enthusiasts and spectators for a great atmosphere.
