Fireworks are set to light up the skies all over Dorset this summer.

Popular displays are set to return once again so if you don't want to miss them, grab your diary and make a note of the following dates. 

Bournemouth Pier

A Friday night tradition in Bournemouth. Thousands of people gather on the beach for the free event. 

Displays take place at 10pm on the following dates and are free to watch:

  • Friday, August 11 
  • Friday, August 18
  • Friday, August 25

Poole Quay Summer Breeze

More than just a fireworks display. There will be live music, street entertainment and more each week from 7pm, ending with a spectacular firework finale over the harbour at 10pm.

Swanage Carnival

Just one of the many highlights at the popular annual carnival which usually sees several displays take place during the week-long event which runs from Saturday, July 29 to Saturday, August 5.

Usually there's a firework display on each Saturday and on the Wednesday although dates are still yet to be announced. 

Wareham

Wareham Wednesdays summer firework spectacular starts on Wednesday, July 26.

For six weeks every Wednesday throughout the summer at the Quay there will be entertainment, stalls and fairground rides until August 30. 

Every evening there is an outside bar with local beers and ciders, our excellent BBQ and beer and cider tent. The evenings always conclude with open air dancing to live music and fantastic fireworks.

Starts at 6.30pm each week.
