AROUND 100 people will walk a marathon in memory of murdered toddler Harry House on Saturday.
Two-year-old Harry was killed by his mum’s, then partner, Joseph Eke in May last year.
Eke was sentenced to 18-years in prison for the vicious murder earlier this month.
Now Jason O’Neill, Harry’s maternal grandfather has arranged a walking marathon this weekend in memory of his “beautiful” and “lovely” grandson at Baiter Park in Poole.
Around 100 family and friends are set to take part in the charity walk, with all proceeds going to Gully’s Place - a new children’s end-of-life care unit at Dorset County Hospital’s Kingfisher ward.
According to Mr O’Neill the Kingfisher ward was the last people to look after Harry before he died of his injuries.
The walk is due to set off at 10.15am around the park.
The jury was told that Harry died as a result of blunt force trauma to his abdomen which was of such force that it that split his pancreas in two.
