POLICE have released a CCTV image of a suspect following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Bournemouth.

Officers were called to the incident at the One Stop store in Seabourne Road, Pokesdown at 10.52pm on Monday, June 5.

A man was reported to have entered the store armed with a handgun before approaching the till and demanding money from the attendant member of staff.

He later made off with the till tray full of cash. He turned left after leaving the store.

No one was physically injured.

A 43-year-old local man who was arrested in relation to the incident has subsequently been released without charge.

Detective Inspector Wayne Seymour, of Bournemouth CID, is asking anyone who is able to identify the man pictured, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Seabourne Road at the relevant time to contact him.
