This picture from the Bournemouth Echo show pupils from Mount Scar School visiting to Purbeck School to see their steam engine.
In 1993 the science teacher and railway enthusiast Noel Donnelly at Purbeck School,Wareham, helped pupils build a steam engine and line which ran for 400 yards around the school grounds.
