POLICE were called to McDonald's following several reports of anti-social behaviour involving cars.

The car park at the fast food restaurant in Yarrow Road, Poole was very busy on Monday night with several people stood around, according to Dorset Police's No Excuse team.

A spokesperson said a Volkswagen Polo "entered the car park erratically, right in front of the unmarked police vehicle."

"The Polo continued to drive without any consideration to anyone in the car park, narrowly missing several vehicles and pedestrians.

"When stopped, the driver, who had had only been on the road for six months, was very apologetic for his behaviour.

"The driver had received three points in January for speeding and had already attended a drivers awareness course last month - there was no other option for this driver and now the possibility of his licence being cancelled."
