A 63-YEAR-OLD man choked to death while eating chips in a car with his wife, a Bournemouth inquest heard.
Retired engineer Steven Charles Boon, who had a history of Parkinson's Disease, started choking as the couple ate their meal at the viewpoint at Rockley Park, Dorset Coroner Rachael Griffin was told.
The inquest heard Mr Boon, of Hibbs Close, Poole, became unresponsive. He was taken to Poole Hospital where he died despite efforts to save him by his wife, Alison, and paramedics.
The cause of Mr Boon's death was given as choking due to Parkinson's Disease and the inquest was adjourned until October..
