YOUNGSTERS have been showing off their BMX skills at a national competition.
Members of Bournemouth BMX Club, based at Iford Lane, took part in the UK BMX National Series in Birmingham recently.
Fynn Phillips excelled, winning several heats and finishing fifth overall.
The club is one of the oldest in the country, having started in 1981, and has helped to develop numerous British Champions and riders up to a world level.
In total, ten of the club's current top riders reached the top eight in their respective age groups - from the age of eight, through to 45 years old.
Last year, the club was ranked 10th in the country, thanks to the tireless support of its team of dedicated volunteers.
