A CYCLIST suffered serious injuries in a crash in Bournemouth on Sunday.
The 49-year-old was involved in a collision with a red car at the junction of Castle Lane East and Holdenhurst Road at around 10.50am.
The male driver stopped to leave a mobile number but then drove off, and police have been unable to contact him.
Officers are asking witnesses to come forward.
Police Constable Tim Brehmer said: “The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
“We have been unable to contact the driver of the red vehicle and need him to get in touch with us urgently.”
