MOLLY Shutler ( nee Arnell ) of Verwood contacted the Echo after seeing the photograph of residents from Wheaton, Rebbeck and Roberts roads, Pokesdown, on a trip to London in 1953 organised by Sue Mathison's grandmother Annie Turner, printed on March 22.

Annie was known by many as 'Aunty Annie' and Molly has happy memories of the coach outings and recognised many of the residents pictured.

The lady at the back behind the window of the coach is Mrs Lily Arnell with her son, Don, in front of her on the right. Lily's eldest son John is behind Ralph Shutler, the young man with wavy hair and glasses in the back row. Molly is the dark curly haired girl next to John and in front in between Molly and Ralph is John Arnell's wife Joan, and on her left is Doreen Arnell, then her friend Mollie Hudspith. The lady with dark hair and glasses in front of Mollie is Mrs Elsie Shutler with Mrs Bastable on the end of the row. Behind Mrs Bastable is Richard Henning, brother of Elsie Shutler, with John Arnell, son of John and Joan Arnell on the coach.

On the far left behind Charlie Turner is Marilyn Brown who later married the man behind her, Ray Weigh.

In the front row, next to Charlie, is Anita Hall with her husband Tom behind her, then Mrs Dora Erwood, Lily's sister-in-law. Next to Anita is her daughter June George with her children Lesley and Stephen. Annie Turner is next to June with the little girl Jennifer Arnell, then there is an unknown child and Jackie Saxby with a bow in her hair.
