POLICE have launched an appeal to find a missing man from Bournemouth.
George Woof, aged 50, was last seen at his home at Grantley Road at 8pm on Saturday, April 8.
Officers now believe he may have travelled to the Manchester area.
It is understood he left on his motorbike - a green Kymco CK1 125, registration HJ17 CBX.
He is described as white, around 5ft7, of slim build, with short dark grey hair and a tattoo just below the hairline.
Chief Inspector Steve White, of Dorset Police, said: “Searches are continuing and we would request that anyone who has seen George or a man matching the description given to contact Dorset Police immediately.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who sees his motorbike or one matching the description.
“Also, if George sees this appeal I would ask that he please contacts us as we are concerned about him and would like to ensure he is safe.”
