A woman has been rescued from her vehicle following a four-car crash on the A352 near Wareham.
Emergency services, including police, ambulance and fire, were called to the scene just after 5pm.
The incident, involving a blue Honda Jazz, a black Volvo and two other vehicles, occurred near to the Worgret roundabout and the Puddletown Road on the A352.
It is not believed that any of those involved suffered serious injuries.
The road was closed at Worgret Roundbaout while emergency services dealt with the incident - but is now open.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "There are reports of a woman who is trapped in her vehicle so fire have been called."
A spokesman for the fire service said fire crews from Wareham and Poole attended a report of a three vehicle collision on the Worgret Roundabout, Wareham.
On arrival, crews found a four vehicle incident with one female trapped.
Crews extricated the casualty using hydraulic rescue equipment and made the scene safe.
