EMERGENCY services were called to a taxi which had gone into a hedge on the A338 Spur Road this morning.
The incident was called into Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service just after 5.45am leading to teams from Springbourne, Christchurch and Redhill, along with a Heavy Rescue Unit from Redbridge, attending the scene near Blackwater Junction.
A spokesperson for the fire service said that one person was removed from the car and treated by the ambulance service.
A man had received minor injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Royal Bournemouth Hospital to be checked over as a precautionary measure.
Numerous calls were made to Dorset Police, according to a spokesperson.
They added that it involved a blue Skoda Octavia registered to a man from Bournemouth.
Traffic is believed to have been delayed as a result of emergency services attending the crash, combined with roadworks along the Spur Road.
