HRH The Princess Royal will officially open a new spinal injury centre at Holton Heath today.
Work on the new facility, which included refurbishing two linked buildings called The Old and New Barn, started last autumn.
Located in a 350-acre nature reserve, Livability Holton Lee, at Holton Heath, specialises in providing disability and mental health care.
Princess Anne, the charity's patron, will be doing the honours as part of a tour of the new facility.
Speaking last month, after the visit was announced, Livability executive director of operations Liz Mell said: "Our new facility at Livability Holton Lee will be a state-of-the-art support centre.
"It will provide specialist rehabilitation services in a home-from-home environment which is focused on equipping people to manage life back at home and in their community."
Construction company Stepnall, which has offices in Poole, carried out the work.
