Bournemouth Ticketmaster customers have crowned Bastille’s Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) performance as the Bournemouth Ticket of the Year 2016.

In the global survey, Bastille’s Bournemouth gig was closely followed by Bring me the Horizon’s BIC performance, and Paul Simon to be crowned the cities Ticket of the Year.

Standing out from the list of pop and rock musicians, classical artists Il Divo and Alfie Boe also made Bournemouth’s list of top tickets for the year, placing just behind chart sensations Catfish and the Bottlemen and musical legend Paul Simon.

Overall, Coldplay were awarded global and UK Ticket of the Year 2016, with their Wembley Stadium show voted the number one ticket.

Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams tour has sold over 1M tickets this year, so it’s no surprise they have dominated the Ticket of the Year 2016 – both globally, and in their homeland.
