BEFORE the council members debate cutting budgets and saving money by reducing refuse collection across the town, could they set aside five minutes to consider another, less inconvenient way of saving money?
Send out one employee, on a moped, with a bunch of keys to the public lavatories that have been locked for the winter and turn off the lights.
Boscombe Cliff Gardens’ facility has, once again been locked for the winter with the lights left on.
Should only take half a day and save money without further inconveniencing Bournemouth residents.
