A31 blocked both ways near Stag Gate after crash between car and motorhome
THERE were long delays on the A31 following a crash between a car and a motorhome near Stag Gate.
Police were called to the scene at around 12.10pm. It was initially reported as a three-vehicle collision, but a spokesperson for Dorset Police later confirmed a blue Mercedes and a white Fiat Ducato motorhome were involved.
A diversion was in place at the Roundhouse Roundabout until the vehicles were recovered at around 2pm.
Nobody was injured in the crash.
There was congestion towards the A350 Poole Road and the B3075 Morden turn-off as a result of the crash.
The local authority dealt with a diesel spill, and the road was cleared by 3pm.
