A DOG that was stolen from kennels has been reunited with its family.

Maria Mosley and her husband, Adrian, from Poole, had put their three dogs into Noarck Boarding Kennels and Cattery on Friday, August 19, for two nights to spend time away with their four children.

However, when staff went to shut the chalet containing Millie the Yorkshire Terrier and her two fellow West Highland Terriers, Ivory and Daisy, on Saturday evening, the smallest of the group had gone.

Maria said she and her family were “heartbroken” following the theft.

Following a social media campaign to ‘Find Millie the Dog’, she was found last week, safe and well.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said three people were helping them with their enquiries.

A Chihuahua puppy that was believed to have been stolen from outside his home in Verwood has also been found.

Owner Sylvia Verville said she “couldn’t sleep or eat” when Winston went missing on Wednesday, August 24.

Three days later, police located Winston at an address in St Leonards, near Ringwood.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Winston has now been reunited with his owners.

“No arrests have been made in relation to this incident.”
