FOLLOWING their sold-out UK & European tour of Autumn 2014, Level 42 are heading out on a new 20-date UK tour in October with a date in Bournemouth.
Level 42 are one of the great success stories of 80s British pop.
To date the band and its lead singer and bassist Mark King- who lives at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, have released 14 studio albums, seven live albums, an EP and six compilation albums and had 18 top 40 singles, including Lessons in Love, Something About You, Leaving Me Now, Running in the Family and Hot Water.
The band have sold-out Wembley Arena for a total of 21 nights and sold in excess of 30 million albums worldwide.
With the recent re-issues of the band’s vast catalogue on Universal Music, it is clear they continue to be as popular and relevant as ever.
Level 42 comprises Mark King (bass/vocals), Mike Lindup (keys/vocals), Nathan King (guitar/vocals), Sean Freeman (sax/vocals), Dan Carpenter (trumpet/vocals), Nichol Thomson (trombone/vocals), Pete Ray Biggin (drums).
It was during their last trip to Bournemouth that ex-drummer Gary Husband returned due to Pete Ray Biggin being unavailable.
