Studland has been named the best beach in the country for 4G signal.

Insurance2go has revealed the top 10 beaches in the UK offering the best access to 4G based on data from Ofcom. 

Studland was ranked best with Hengistbury Head appearing at number four. 

Other beaches featured in the list included Portstewart Strand in Northern Ireland and Porthminster Beach in Cornwall.

The best beach 4G provider is EE, followed by Vodafone and O2.

They also compiled a list of the ten beaches where 4G signal is non-existant and likely to cause major frustration among social media addicts.
