Judges at Bournemouth Crown Court have quashed a conviction against Amir Khorasani, of Christchurch Road.
Mr Khorasani, 53, was found guilty of assaulting a man by beating him at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court in November last year following a trial.
However, the conviction has now been formally overturned.
