CHILDREN’S hospice Julia’s House is warning people about a scam email telling the recipient they are about to make a donation to the charity.
A spokesperson for Julia’s House said they had received a “number of calls from people who have received an email claiming they are about to make a donation of £120 to Julia’s House via JustGiving.”
The email appears to come from PayPal and asks the recipient to click a link if they do not want to make the donation.
The charity is warning people these emails are bogus.
“Do not click the link as this may contain a virus. Please be assured you will not be making a donation to us,” the spokesperson added.
