A Jack Russell who went missing near Moors Valley over a week ago has been found.
Brodie went missing at Potterne Park on the evening of Wednesday, June 22.
A Facebook page set up by Kim Ball to help find Brodie had reached 177,000 people.
There were two uncomfirmed sightings of him earlier this week.
His owner received a call on Monday from Avon Heath Country Park saying a woman had spotted a Jack Russell with an injured leg in the car park area off Boundary Lane.
Unfortunately, the rangers did not take the woman’s name or contact details.
Then on Wednesday, a woman walking her dog near Bakers Hanging in Verwood thought she spotted Brodie 200 yards away. However, a later search of the area proved unsuccessful.
However, on Friday afternoon, a message was posted on the Facebook page to say he had been found.
They posted: "Brodie found! Welcome home after 9 days missing. Please share, can the lovely lady who found him at Potterne Park let us know who she is ? Thank you for all your support you have been amazing xx"
