MORE than 10,000 people will visit the Somerley estate near Ringwood for a music festival today.
The organisers of this weekend’s Soundclash event have said they are working closely with the police to ensure that festival goers have a safe and enjoyable time.
Police will be on site along with security staff to ensure the festival is enjoyed safely.
As reported by the Echo, police had issued advice to festival goers ahead of the event in which they stated how long the entertainment was due to last.
Hampshire police has now clarified that the main stage will close at around 11pm with acts continuing within tented stages around the site at a reduced noise level until 2am.
Soundclash organiser Ryan Keary said that the event team had been working closely with the police in all aspects of planning the event to ensure it was enjoyed by all those who attended.
