Harry Potter fans will be taking part in spellbinding events all over the world tonight.

Harry Potter Book Night follows on from last year's hugely successful inaugural event which saw 10,500 parties take place to celebrate JK Rowling's series of magical books.

This year's theme is A Night of Spells and will see fans get together and have fun, as well as introduce the books to a whole new generation of young readers.

Those who take part are encouraged to share photos and videos on social media using the hash tag #HarryPotterBookNight.
