FOUR swords are among the items stolen from a Bournemouth home during a raid yesterday.

Police are now urging residents to look out for the "very specific" pieces of equipment, taken from the property in Green Road sometime between 7am and 5pm.

A Bosch cordless hammer drill and sword fencing kit consisting of a black ski-like bag with burgundy writing on it, four fencing swords, protective undergarments and fencing gloves, shoes and suit were taken.

PC Graeme Johnston, of Bournemouth police, said: “These are very specific pieces of equipment that were stolen from the victim.

“I am asking the public to look out for these items that might be put up for sale online or locally.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who saw suspicious behaviour at the relevant time and location of the burglary.

“Anyone with information should contact me on 101.”

No arrests have been made.
