TRAFFIC was gridlocked near Bournemouth Airport this afternoon after three cars were involved in a collision at Parley Lane.
Police on the scene said that nobody was injured, but part of the road was blocked near the junctions with Pussex Lane and Mill Lane.
The cars involved were a Mini, a Peugeot and a Volkswagen.
Police were directing traffic around the scene while they waited for recovery to arrive.
As a result, there were tailbacks all around the area, with traffic already busy with Red Arrows fans who had journeyed to the airport to see the team land at 2.45pm.
