TEN fire crews tackled a blaze in a Dorset village.
Firefighters were alerted to the fire at 3.24am on Sunday morning at the property in Toller Fratrum, near Maiden Newton.
Two crews from Maiden Newton and Dorchester were sent to tackle the blaze and on arrival found the first floor of the property completely alight.
Firefighters said that a further eight fire crews were requested and at the height of the blaze a total of ten fire engines were in attendance, as well as a water carrier.
Five main line water jets were used to tackle the fire, which was under control by 6.43am.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said that it is not believed anyone was injured in the blaze.
