EXCITEMENT is mounting among fans of AFC Bournemouth with just five day days to go until the Premier League fixtures are announced.

The schedule for the 2015/2016 season is published on Wednesday and you can view it in full on the Bournemouth Echo website from 9am.

You'll be able to find out when the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and champions Chelsea will be coming to Dean Court and when the Cherries will be gracing Old Trafford, the Emirates, Anfield, Stamford Bridge and the other 15 Premier League venues.

And on Thursday the Daily Echo is producing a 20 page fixtures supplement, with reaction on the fixture list and profiles, details and travel advice on all the grounds where Championship-title winners AFCB will be playing in the Premier League.

There'll also be special wallchart detailing all the matches in the 38-game season.

The PL season kicks off on Saturday August 8 and it promises to be the most momentous nine months in the history of the Cherries, playing in the richest and most powerful football league in the world.

Lifelong fan Russell Ackrill, known as Ackie, is aiming to go to nearly every game, home and away. He said: "I think for many people the publication of the fixture list will be the moment that it all sinks in and we realise exactly what we have achieved.

"I remember how exciting it was when the Championship fixture list was released, this will just be a whole new level. From then on, the countdown to the season will start and everyone will be buzzing.

"For me, the fixtures I will be looking for are Liverpool away as I have never seen AFC Bournemouth play at Anfield and Manchester United at home. I'm not worried about the run-in as we will be safe by then."
