A DRIVER has been questioned by police after a vehicle collided with 11 parked cars in Bournemouth’s Castlepoint shopping centre.
Emergency services were called to the car park, near the Asda superstore, at 12.45pm on Thursday May 7.
Police said it is believed that a red Renault Megane, registered to an address in Christchurch, had collided with the parked cars.
One person suffered a minor injury and was treated by paramedics.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue said the service was alerted to the incident at 12.50pm and a crew from Redhill Park made the scene safe by disconnecting the batteries of two vehicles and absorbing an oil spillage.
A spokesperson for Castlepoint shopping centre said: “A few cars suffered some low-impact damage, which is being dealt with by owners’ respective insurance companies.”
