A FOUR-vehicle crash caused delays for motorists in Branksome.
Emergency services were called to Lindsay Road at around 1.30pm following reports of a collision near the traffic lights at Leicester Road heading towards Penn Hill.
One lane of Lindsay Road was closed westbound while the vehicles were recovered from the scene.
Motorists faced minor traffic delays in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesman from the South Western Ambulance Service said paramedics were called shortly before 1.30pm.
When they arrived they found no one was trapped in their vehicles.
The spokesman said paramedics attended to three casualties, none of which are believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
Two ambulances transferred casualties to Poole Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesman from Dorset Police said the collision involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa registered to a woman from Bournemouth, a blue Renault Clio registered to a woman from Poole, a white Peugeot van registered to a man from Poole and a green BMW registered to a woman from Bournemouth.
