Fire crews called after trees set alight
FIRE crews from Springbourne were called to a fire on Queens Park Golf Course just before 4pm on Saturday afternoon.
The fire, believed to be arson, involved a number of trees and was extinguished using one extended hose reel jet.
Firefighters had dealt with the flames by 4.12pm.
A spokesman for the fire service said that Dorset Police were informed, as the fire was thought to have been caused deliberately.
