A TWO-year-old boy has been reunited with his unique patchwork blanket after his mother's appeal for help went viral.
Joelle Adams, 24, from Muscliff was desperate to get the highly sentimental blanket back, as it is made up of patchworks of her two-year-old son's first baby clothes, first blanket, and even early photographs of him.
The blanket was lost during a trip to Castlepoint on Tuesday.
Joelle said: "I was shopping in Castlepoint and my son was asleep in his buggy with his blanket, and he must have dropped it at one point. I looked everywhere for it.
Posting on a Facebook this morning she said: "I am completely overwhelmed how many people have just been so amazing and have taken their time to message, share and comment.
"I am so over the moon and just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone and the person who handed it in or found it in Next."
