Bypass closed following three-vehicle crash
THE Christchurch Bypass was partially closed earlier today following a three-vehicle crash near Waitrose.
The A35 was closed westbound at the Stony Lane roundabout causing traffic queues.
Ambulances were called to the scene of the collision, which occurred at around 11.10am and involved grey and silver Ford Fiestas and a silver Hyundai Getz.
There are not thought to be any serious injuries at this time.
There were reports of long delays around the town as traffic was diverted around the closure.
The road was cleared by 2pm.
