OPERATIONS at Bournemouth Airport have been suspended after a light aircraft’s nose wheel collapsed shortly after landing.
A spokesman for the airport said a privately owned Piper Malibu Mirage came into land at 12.05pm and its front wheel gave way moments later.
She added that only the pilot was on board and operations at the airport were suspended so the plane could be removed from the runway.
Flights are expected to resume again shortly.
No injuries are believed to have been sustained.
