FIRE crews were called to a Bournemouth shopping centre early on Sunday morning after alarms were triggered.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 5am and firefighters from Springbourne and Westbourne were sent to Richmond Gardens Shopping Centre.
They found that an ultra sonic jewellery cleaner, which had been left on overnight, had overheated.
Damage was confined to the cleaner unit, with light smoke-logging to the shop and surrounding corridor.
