SWANAGE firefighters were called out on Saturday afternoon after a car caught light.
A crew from the town’s fire station was sent to Foxhill Close at 4.43pm.
They found a car on fire and put out the flames using hoses.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said that the cause was an electrical short circuit in the engine compartment, which was severely damaged.
