Blue Monday. Dubbed the most depressing day of the year when we're struggling with the dark nights, cold weather and Christmas debt.

The science behind the name has been thoroughly debunked (it was an equation created for a PR agency working for a travel company) but if you ARE feeling down in the dumps today then there are lots of things to smile about.

Here's our list of reasons to be cheerful to help you beat the blues.

1. There are only 129 days left until the Wheels Festival

9. Long-awaited films such as Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, Ant-Man, Avengers and Jurassic World come out this year, as well as Far From The Madding Crowd which stars Carey Mulligan and was filmed in Dorset.

10. The weather should start getting warmer soon (well, we did say should...)
