A FURTHER arrest has been made in relation to an alleged stabbing in Boscombe on Wednesday.
A 36-year-old man was found covered in blood on the corner of Christchurch Road and Crabton Close Road at around 10.30am, prompting a major manhunt operation.
The victim was taken to Poole Hospital and has since been discharged.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “A 41 year-old woman from Bournemouth has today been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, robbery and handling stolen goods.”
She said the woman is assisting officers with their enquiries.
The arrest came a day after 40-year-old Lee Groves, of Hawkwood Road, Bournemouth, was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and robbery.
Today magistrates ruled Groves should be remanded in custody until January 23, when his case will be heard at Bournemouth Crown Court.
A 31-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the incident.
