As much as we enjoy the festive season, it does have the tendency to cause public transport turmoil.

Do not panic, though, as we are going to give you a summary of transport services up until the New Year (so you can avoid re-creating your own scene from Trains, Planes and Automobiles...).

More Buses

Christmas Eve: normal weekday timetable
Christmas Day: a special hourly service is running on route m1 from Poole to Castlepoint via Bournemouth and extended to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The first bus from Poole will depart at 8am, and the last bus at 8pm. The first bus from Bournemouth will be at 8.28am and from Royal Bournemouth Hospital at 9am. There will be no other buses running on Christmas Day.
Boxing Day: special services running on certain routes. m1/m2 buses will be running every 10 minutes, 4, 5, 8, 9, & X3 every hour (and 8 every half hour from Poole to Turlin Moor) 13 every two hours and 14, 16 every half hour. There will be no nighttime buses.
27 December: normal Saturday timetable
28 December: normal Saturday timetable but no nighttime buses.
29 December: normal Saturday timetable but no nighttime buses.
New Years Eve: normal Saturday timetable and nighttime buses running.
New Years Day: special services running on routes m1/m2, with buses running every 15 minutes, 5, 8, 9, 16 & X3 every hour and 13 every two hours.
2 January: all services back to normal (hooray)
