A FIRE that destroyed a car in Boscombe last night is believed to have been started deliberately.
Firefighters received multiple calls to a car ablaze in Hamilton Road at 6.40pm, with a crew from Springbourne arriving at the scene within four minutes.
The fire was brought under control shortly before 7pm using one hose reel jet and a dry powder extinguisher.
However, the vehicle was completely destroyed. A spokesperson from the Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The cause of the fire is believed to be malicious."
