X Factor singing star Luke Friend wowed a crowd of screaming girls during a performance in Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
The mini-gig took place at Pier Approach after 3pm, with around 200 people, mainly teenage girls, assembled to greet him.
And when he appeared from the BIC, where he was performing on Sunday night, a throng of people swept up towards him screaming in delight before following him down to near the pier.
The dreadlocked star, who appeared on last year's X Factor and got to the grand final, took the adulation in his stride before grabbing his guitar and starting the busking.
He had earlier tweeted to say he would be performing at Bournemouth beach.
"You can hear me play ‘Sex’ on the beach today if you head to Bournemouth!! See you on the Beach at 3!! #TakeOnTheWorld", the tweet said.

He will appear at the BIC with The Vamps as part of a nationwide tour.
As well as some of his own material, Luke also performed an accoustic version of Sam Smith's 'Stay with Me'.
One girl, Emily, 17, from Bournemouth said she had seen his tweet and told her friends to come with her to see him.
"It's not everyday something like this happens in Bournemouth", she said.
Luke's manager, Martin Wright, said: "He has been doing some busking at each venue he has peformed at.
"It's great. It always gets a really, really good response.
"Everyone sings along. It's a chance to meet the fans."
His first single will be released in February 2015, Mr Wright added.
Just on our way to go down by the pier!! Busking time...
