The Kings Arms
Set in the heart of Christchurch, The Kings seamlessly blends tradition with exquisite contemporary style. This part of Christchurch is steeped in history, with the famous Priory attracting visitors from all over the world and Christchurch’s 12th century castle still devotedly watching over the town.

The Kings itself is perfectly positioned to absorb the town’s unique ambience. The hotel has fantastic views across its own Bowling Green and Pavilion. With the Avon River flowing idly at its border and
views of The Pavilion, Christchurch Castle and the Priory, this is an ideal location for spring and summer outdoor celebrations.

Imagine strolling over the lawns as newlyweds, with a glass of fizz in hand at your sun-kissed champagne reception, or joining friends and family in giant lawn games after the ceremony. A relaxed venue, the Bowling Green is an enchanting place to chat to your guests or share in the laughter as giant Jenga tumbles!

This venue is also perfect for beautiful wedding photographs with unrivalled surroundings for inspiration.

The Kings Pavilion
Opposite The Kings, this traditional Bowling Pavilion has been lovingly transformed into a beautiful New England style wedding venue. With its panoramic views of the landscaped grounds it is the perfect setting for you to say “I Do.”

Hold an unforgettable civil ceremony for up to 80 guests in a bright and airy setting, tastefully decorated in neutral colours to accent the stunning surroundings. Why not leave the French doors open onto a private, full length veranda, to let glorious sunlight flood the room as you take your vows?

An undeniably distinctive venue, The Kings Pavilion and its Bowling Green radiate a pastoral ambiance. Below the ruins of Christchurch Castle, with the Avon River flowing by its border, it as though time stands still in this tranquil corner of a bustling Dorset town.

After the ceremony, step out onto the lush green grass and make your way as newlyweds for pictures on the river’s edge or in front of the Castle. Enjoy an alfresco canapé and Champagne reception, before moving into The Kings Priory wedding suite.

The Kings Priory
Sunlight drenches The Kings Priory – a light and airy ceremony venue within The Kings. Perfectly positioned to drink in the unique views over the Bowling Green, Pavilion and Priory, this room is perfect
for your wedding breakfast. Seating up to 90 guests, you can then move downstairs to the private dance floor and bar, as the party continues into the night.
