THREE children are being treated by paramedics for "shock" after a two-vehicle collision on the A31.
There are tailbacks to West Moors following the crash, which took place at approximately 10.20am this morning, and one lane of the dual carriageway is blocked eastbound near Boundary Lane.
It is not thought that anyone was seriously hurt in the collision, which involved a black van registered to a company from Devon and a Peugeot 307 registered to a keeper from the Poole area.
A spokesperson from the South Western Ambulance Service confirmed that crews are on the scene.
"Paramedics are checking over the drivers and occupants of both vehicles, including three children," he said.
"At the moment, it is not believed that any serious injuries have been sustained."
A Dorset Police spokesperson said one lane of the carriageway is blocked, causing traffic problems along the route.
