the smiling assassin says...

How can it be a one vehicle "collision"?
The Collins English Dictionary defines a Collision as; “An instance of one moving object or person striking violently against another: i.e. a mid-air collision between two aircraft” or ‘his car was in collision with a lorry’
so a vehicle in a ditch is a crash described as ” violently with an obstacle or another vehicle” i.e. ‘a racing car had crashed, wrecking a safety barrier’
