A Fair in Hamworthy Park, this brings back memories. I was brought up in Hamworthy in the 50s and this was an annual treat. A crowd of us would walk down there from Lake Drive (no parents allowed1) If I was lucky I was given Half-a-crown to spend and always saved 6d for roll-a penny! God where have the years gone!

Sadly its not like it used to be I remember going with my friend we had a big ferris wheel in those days. Last time it was here I took my grandkids and what a rip off, shoddy stalls and dodgy rides.
