POLICE officers were called to a three-vehicle crash close to Bournemouth Airport this afternoon.

The call came in to Dorset Police at 1.06pm with reports of the incident on Christchurch Road, close to Golden Acres Garden Centre.

It involved a white Toyota Corolla, registered to a woman from Bournemouth, a white Citroen C2, registered to a man from Christchurch and a white Ford Transit van registered to a Bournemouth company.

South Western Ambulance Service were also requested to attend but it is believe that no injuries were received by any person from any of the vehicles.

One lane of the road was blocked while emergency services were dealing with the incident, causing some traffic delays, before the road was fully re-opened just before 2pm.
